Thistle Bird Seed What kind of bird did I see on my bird feeder?

Question by Andrea: What kind of bird did I see on my bird feeder?
I live in Maryland and just saw a bird on the feeder that I have never seen before. It was slender like a finch only slightly bigger and had a notched tail. What made it so different is that it was completely white. Not a patch or speck of color on him. Does anyone know what bird it was?

Addititionally,
Below are just a few of many with notched tails and app. size described
Gold finch
Housefinch
Below is an Albino House Sparrow, its non-albino counterpart,
the most widely distributed bird in the world

Can speculate on much here. Dedicated non profits such as
the Cornell University Ornithology dept., and a
local chapter of Audubon could be engaged to speculate.
Nothing is showing current for escaped domestics in Maryland,.
but that is current info, and not a latent blog
