Question by Sadie H: How do I get birds to live in my birdhouse?
I recently bought a bird house to put up. I put it in our burning bush that is really big. Birds stay in there so i put it in there. It’s about in the middle of the bush and I have walked by it a couple of times and have noticed that no birds are living in it. How do i make them live in it?

Put it away from the bush. Other birds use the bush for alot of reasons and a nesting pair will not want to be bothered. There would be too much competition. Birds are very private when it comes to nesting. Nail the house to a board somewhere. 5 foot above the ground.
