I want to buy a bird but i want to get one that i can carry and play with, but i don’t want to mess up and wast my money. Someone help!

Buddgerter or Parakeet. Just be sure to go to a bird vet and find out what they need. Bird seed in grocery stores has no nutritional value and you will starve the bird. Use Veggies, and quality food. Including these seeds in a ball for the bottom of the cage for him to play with. Do not use gravel so it does not get in his grits, use newspaper and remove 2 sheets daily. Don’t inadvertently kill a bird like we did. This was pre-internet days. He lasted 7years.
And there isn’t much many vets an do to birds unless they are trained and still there isn’t much they can do if the bird is in poor health.
