Question by firstyearbabyboomer: What is the type of bird nesting in one of the windows in the old BMA Building in Kansas City Missouri?
This building is at 31st and Southwest Traffic way. These are birds of prey and are quite large and I seem to remember that they are falcons but I’m not sure and I’d like to know that again. Thanks for your help.

Hard to say without a photo, but peregrines are commonly found making nests on the window sills of high buildings. They prey on the pigeons that live around the city.
