ok here’s the basics:
~mainly red
~pointed small beak
~black wings with white stripes on them
~medium//fat sized
any pics of this bird or name of this thing???
i live in new york in a little town

This sounds to me as if it is a SCARLET TANAGER.
Look a picture of oneup on google and see if that is what it is… but that is my best guess…
