Baby Birds How long does it take baby birds to hatch and leave the nest?

Question by Ashley: How long does it take baby birds to hatch and leave the nest?
There is a whole in the side of my grill and birds alwyas make nests in it. We went of vacation for a week and when we came back there was a huge next and bout 6 eggs. we dont want to move or touch the eggs. How long will it be before the baby birds will hatch and then leave the nest so we can use our grill? please help!(:

Depending on what bird it is, it will probably be at least 1 month for the eggs to hatch, and about another 2 more months after that for the babies birds be able to survive on their own and to be able to leave the nest.

Anyone know a petstore that allows u to buy a bird without and adult I’m 15. Around manhattan and if u can give me the address please?

It is illegal for stores to sell live animals to minors. Be responsible and talk to your parents. If you’re actually allowed to get a bird, there’ll be a time when a parent can go with you to purchase it.
