a baby redpoll blown from its nest in a recent storm last week. It’s parents never showed up to look after it (we tried on two days) so my wife is continuing to feed it. He (or she) is being fed a mixture of assorted grass seeds, ground up, and scrambled egg all stuck together with mashed banana). Boy can he eat!
