Question by SmokinNinja: Do birds eat more from a bird feeder when its cold or warm?
Do birds eat more from a stationary bird feeder when the temperature of the day is colder or warmer? I’m starting up bird watching and was wondering whether or not to watch on warm or cold days?
Thanks for the info….Helps me a lot!

Birds eat more when it is cold. They get there body heat from what they eat, this is why we feed seed with more oil content (linseed-hemp-etc.) in the winter months.
