My dad just got this big bag of wild bird seeds and just to be safe I want to know if I’m allowed to feed it to my budgie
it would also be better if you explained why

I would reccomend against it. Wild bird seed formulations are often full of lots of ultra-high fat seeds– which is OK for wild birds who fly around and hunt and scavenge all day, but not for a caged bird that mostly sits around in a cage.
Also, wild bird seed is more likely to be dirtier or have pesticides or something like that on it– wild birds have better immunities to this type of thing as they have been living for generations with mild amounts of filth and parasites around, but your pet bird comes from birds basically raised in isolation from this type of thing. Seed meant for your bird (or even a mix of seeds meant for people) is better than wild bird seed.
So the jist of it is— incorrect formulation, and it could make your bird sick. I highly reccomend sticking to seed bought specifically for your budgie— seed that was mixed with a budgie’s physiology in mind.
