You need a wooden box, with no top, that is fairly light, a stick or small pole aprox. 1 1/2 to 2 ft long, and a sturdy piece of string or twine long enough to go hide somewhere. Prop the stick under the edge of the box so the box is propped upside down at a 45 degree angle from the ground. Tie the string around the bottom of the stick and run it to were you will be hiding. Throw some chunks of bread on the ground and lead them under to the back of the box. After awhile birds will show up and then start eating. Be patient and sooner than later one will start eating under the box. Then simply give the string a good tug and whalla you have a bird.
