Question by Remmy: What varieties of Blood Parrot are there?
Blood parrots are my favourite fish, I already have one and am looking to buy another soon but I want something a bit different. Ive already heard about kilin parrots and king kong parrots but are there any other types?

There are the king kongs (which are great) the jack Dempsey mix (much more aggressive than a jack Dempsey) the convict mix(short body’s) and then the bad ones, I will ask you not to buy any colored blood parrot (except red, or black) or “heart blood parrots” these fish are mutilated, soaked in painfully dyes and tattooed on. I feel bad for these fish but they should not be bought beacuse in only insures another one will be hurt, on top of that most of them will die during the process or within months after if they do survive the color will be dull and in pain
