Question by Mel: We have a MAJOR Sparrow problem at my bird feeder?
I think the sparow population around my house has at least doubled in the past few years! they ate 20lb of bird seed in less than 3 days!! and it’s all mostly sparrows! at one point i counted at least 50 sparrows on or underneath the bird feeder eating the seed! we used to have so many different species of birds, but now all i mostly see r just sparrows! i mean i like the little guys, but i mean this is just ridiculus!!
i’m not quite sure how to get rid of them, i don’t want to trap or kill any of them, i just want them to find another food source, like maybe is there a type of seed or bird food that doesn’t attract them?? any advice would be great!

Move the bird feeder about 5 feet every other day away from the previous spot, then place it in a new spot. If you don’t want to lose a bird feeder take it out for about a month then put it back in.
