Question by Emily: How can I convince my parents to let me raise new born baby birds?
there is a bird nest in my backyard with a few newborn baby birds in it. the mother abandoned them, and I want to take care of them myself. When I told my parents about them, I asked if I could take care of them, and they said no. How can I convince them to let me raise them?

best thing to do is to call a wildlife rehab center and get them to raise them if you are 100% positive that the mum has actually abandoned them, and not attempt to raise them yourself. How long have you not seen the parents for?
