Australian Birds What bird in australia had red or pink eyes?

Question by : What bird in australia had red or pink eyes?
Yesterday when i was driving home i saw this bird that looked like a pokemon (i know its a bad description) and all of a sudden this bird with black feathers and (i think) a black beak came down and took the other bird away. I think it was a crow, but it wasn’t as big as a crow
let me make this abit more clear its Eyes were red
it had Black feathers
It chased/took the other bird away (the other bird looked like a pokemon)
it was Fully black ae far as i could tell

Could it have been a Currawong? They have yellow/orange eyes.
