Question by beakndi: Can you believe there is a law in Rhode Island PROHIBITING you from feeding the birds in your own back yard?
I live in the country and love to throw sun flower seeds and thistle on the ground near my house to feed the birds. The DEM came to my door today and told me to stop. Only elevated bird/squirrel feeders within 100 feet of my house is allowed. They say deer may come and eat the seed and feeding wild deer is against the law. What can I do? HELP!
