Question by Mike: How do I get my quaker parrot to shut up?
Okay before you say I should have researched the parrot before bring her home let me just say that I personally never asked for the damn thing. My parents wanted a parrot and my brother’s living situation at the time gave him an opportunity to bring one home in exchange for work around the house he was living at. We’ve had her for about a month now and I am still not use to it. I hate the damn thing. If it were my choice I’d get rid of it. So please no rude answers just help me shut this damn thing up, it’s so hard to watch tv/movies/listen to music/whatever I’m up to while that damn bird is here.
And this thing is so loud that it sounds like it’s in my room when it squawks. It feels like my brain rattles every time I hear it.
We have a sheet that covers it and every time I cover it my parents uncover it when I’m not looking so it’s pointless unless it’s night or they are away.

Put a towel over it’s cage. Works for me and my birdy friend.
