we like to build bird houses. when we paint them, we would like to know if birds are attracted to any particular color, so we can paint them to attract more birds.

They should blend in with the environment..if they are too brightly colored they may attract predators. Stick with something neutral..beige, green, pale blue or just plain unpainted wood.
