Question by daniel: Why is my male parrot so aggressive when i get close to my female parrot?
Ok so i go and try to pet my female parrot and my male just goes crazy and charges at me! But when anybody else in my family gets close to her he doesnt care? Why is this happening? Are these signs that he wants her to himself? Mating maybe? Some help!!

If you didn’t put the words “But when anybody else in my family gets close to her he doesnt care?” in it then I would have had an answer. But ill try anyway. I think it hates you cause you did something bad to him. Or yoor too big and freaky (no offense) and the male is trying to protect the female. Either way all parrots get aggressive while their mating. Especially males. And yes these are signs that you should leave them alone. Sorry
