Question by Mr. 2011: What is the possibility that an “extinct” animal, is thriving on an island we haven’t discovered yet?
For example the Do-Do. What if it isn’t really extinct; but the species is on an island yet to be discovered.
What are the possibilities?
This is hypothetically speaking. There may be an island around Canada that we haven’t discovered, however unlikely.

how would a do-do get on a island? i thought they lived in Canada. I’m gonna say, not for that animal. there may be like a few of them alive, if they’ve managed to mate within their own family for these years. how long has it been since the do-do went extinct?
