I have read the bigger the black bib on the sparrow the higher up he is, I have noticed when this one feeds none of the others do they just sit and wait
They are getting rarer now I cant imagine a garden without this cheeky little bird and its chirping its angry little tantrums and its fearlessness in the face of big starlings
