Question by kazoo1991: How common is it for a redheaded woodpecker to eat from a bird feeder?
Out of all the years we have had bird feeders in the yard we have never seen a woodpecker eat from one. They look pretty funny with their really long beaks. I have seen him getting worms/bugs out of the trees but never seed from the feeders. Not even from the suet feeder we have separate.
Any info would be appreciated
