What type of birds lay their eggs on the ground this time of year? In the Sacramento, California area.
I mean like little birds. With little blue eggs. Like the size of half a cottonball.

Ducks lay eggs in nests on the ground in the Springtime, like now. Usually you will find a lot in one nest, all about the size of a chicken egg.
Geese also nest and lay eggs on the ground.
