Bird Cages Steam cleaning a good option for bird cages?

Question by Nicigil: Steam cleaning a good option for bird cages?
I’m considering buying a steam cleaner for my large flight cage and individual bird cages. Is this a good option? I’d also spray it down after with vinegar water to sanitize it further! Does anyone have a model of steam cleaner you like?

Why can’t you use water and soap?…the lunge water will be harmful to the birds.
