1) We have many birds in the USA and they all serve a purpose.
2) 1,000 of different kinds. from Robins, crows, red tailed hawk, sea gulls (many types) barn owl, Jays( many types) just to name a few.
3) Its not that popular to keep birds as pet. Not as popular as dogs or cats. Many people have just parakeet and cocktails the easy not to expensive birds, but lots of fun. As a matter of fact my little Senegal is sitting on my shoulder as i type this.
4 HELLS YEAH we should protect birds. the birds of pray being some of the most underaged. We took their land witch took their food. We poisoned their eggs. with out them this country would be over run with mice and rabbits. People need to be educated on how they can help our wildlife.
