Question by Btrfly: I think my male pigeons are having an affair with a new female?
I bought 2 mated pairs of ‘monogamous’ pigeons and 3 juvenile birds becoming sexually mature.
One juvie appears to be a female. One male has been seen feeding her like he feds his mate and the other male has been dancing and puffing for her. Right in front of their mates! What is going on!?
I’m new to pigeon fancying.

Normally pigeons stick with their mates, but if you add mateless birds into the mix, the males may try to court them as well. its usually better to only house pairs together (you can have 10 pairs, or so, but dont add in a single bird)
