Question by Rick D: Is it safe to handle a spiderling?
ok , i purchased an Australian bird eating tarantula from a pet store yesterday, he seems extremely passive but is only a baby, and is far from fully grown( i think) anyway just need to know if its safe to handle him

no.spiders are best kept alone.they’re best kept like fishes.you feed them and treat them if they’re sick but you see,they do not enjoy the handling and company of humans unlike dogs or cats or whatever.
i’m so sorry.i know from experience one of us will say yes to you and i know you want so badly to handle the spider but please listen to me.
