Question by stefano: What would be an appropriate bird cage for finches and cockatiels to share?
I need a bird cage atleast 30 x 30 x 60 or more for around $ 250 or less on amazon or in pet stores in florida.. I found one on amazon its; f050 bird cage. Would that be good enough for 2 cockatiels and 4 finches to share?

You won’t like this, but there is no such thing as a good cage for cockatiels and finches to share, especially two cockatiels who might form a bond and become possessive of one another. Never mix birds that aren’t VERY similar in both size and temperament, and absolutely never mix a hookbill with a non hookbill. Never ever. Dead and maimed birds are usually the result, especially in such a small cage. Think you are the exception? So did I until my budgie lost a toe and another nearly lost her scalp and was blinded in one eye. Instead, invent in a second cage. Buying one second-hand should reduce your price. The birds would likely enjoy being housed next to each other, but not close enough that the cockatiels can reach through and nab toes. I am sorry to say that one cage would likely spell death for your cute little finches. Please be a responsible and loving pet owner and buy 2 cages.
