Question by aubrea b: why are my pet zebra finches balding on the top of their head?
i have two finches, i just got them yesterday. one is a male and the other is a female. i noticed today when i got home that their heads were bald.

I don’t have finches I have poultry lol but baldness is a problem on the heads although mainly on females only (you know when the male bird gets on to do his business and he has to keep a grip by holding onto the head of the female and often a few feathers will fall out and eventually leave bald patches!) That could be the problem only other thing i can think of could be maybe a mite problem? or maybe they have just had a squabble?
