We have three bird feeders in our front yard and we feed birds all Winter. Over the last few years, the number of bird visitors has gone down quite a big. I’d take a wild guess maybe by 50%. I’ve changed the bird food, listened to advice from folks who sell bird feed locally but the decline remains in tact!
We do have a couple of new cats to the neighborhood who run wild but I find it hard to believe these two cats could disseminate our local bird population! I dunno… kinda frustrating. But I got this shot of a Nuthatch visiting our feeder today!
