Question by xemotionsrhighx: What can I use to make pine cone bird feeders?
With my class, I was planning on making pine cone bird feeders. The ones where you rub the pine cone around in peanut butter and bird seed. However, I was wondering if you need to use real pine cones or could I buy a bag from my local craft store.
Also, if I can’t use fake pine cones.. does anyone know where I might be able to purchase real ones.

The pine cones from the craft store are real pine cones – they are just selected and cleaned because of their near perfect shape so they are sold for projects – a lot of the ones you find outside are broken in places. The birds won’t care which ones you use! Have fun with the project and good luck! The birds will love them!
