Question by cyndaylou: how do I stop birds from eating my dogs food?
My german short hair(a bird dog) stays outside and his food is there too. He most always has food in his bowl so he can eat. But this is the time of the year where birds start coming back and they come in flocks of 10+ to our porch where his bowl is kept, and they steal his food. It’s very annoying because my bird dog just sits and stares at them and the birds poop all over my porch. How can I stop these pesky birds and save my dog’s food AND my porch?

To correct the food problem, there are enclosed automatic dry food dispensers that are easier for dogs to access. As for the birds, try the fake owl in the tree trick to see if they will be scared off.
