I uploaded a video with Free Bird in it and UMG blocked it from view in Germany. Why?

umg (universal music) and sony are blocking many videos in germany as they and GEMA (like ascap) and youtube bargaining since years about payments for the music. without proxy, almost 50%+x of music videos are blocked in germany. sad but true.
