Question by Amanda H: Can I feed hummingbirds if I am planning on moving in six months?
Hello,
I just got a new hummingbird feeder but I am moving in six months. A friend told me the hummingbirds will see it as a reliable food source and that I shouldn’t hang it up since I am planning on moving. Is this true? Should I wait to hang it up or would it be okay for the time being? Thanks.

Go ahead and hang it up. I’m sure other people in your area have hummingbird feeders, and if not, the birds still know how to get nectar from the flowers.
