Lovebirds How many times a year should lovebirds lay eggs?

Question by skittlesx.core: How many times a year should lovebirds lay eggs?
I had 2 lovebirds. In January they laid their first set of eggs and 1 baby hatched out of 5 eggs. The mother bird has laid 2 sets of eggs since then and both times the eggs would not hatch so we would crack the eggs and the babys would be under developed.
How many times a year should my lovebirds be breeding?
And why is it all of the babys are not developed enough to hatch?
Thanks!
And they’re peach faced lovebirds.

Most birds require a high level of humidity in the nest during incubation bark of trees pieces of straw twigs (tiny) The birds get busy stripping bark off and tucking under wings to take to nest (Make sure none is poison) Additional material should be added the hen will replenish the nest with regular intervals and this helps maintain the humidity! Incubation is about 23 days you should not disturb unless its an emergacny . These birds mate at less than a year can have 3-8 eggs to hatch If you have a hybrid this could be the cause for un hatched eggs.
