A friend of mine says the shells from eggs are okay for them, We were just wondering if this is true?

Egg shells are a good source of calcium and can be given once they are cleaned and dried (ground up is good too). However, they will get more calcium through a cuttle bone than egg shells since egg shells don’t taste that great. Oh and make sure that if you give them egg shells, then remove the thin membrane along the inside.
