Question by Lipiew: What is a good bird site? (pictures for identifying)?
I’m looking for a specific bird I saw in New York state and I don’t know where to start. I wish there was a site that showed me many pictures of birds found in a particular state.

www.whatbird.com is nice
You can pick the area you’re located, then go from there in terms of picking the birds overall shape, beak shape, legs, color, etc.
