Question by Jeffrey Wilinski: What coating to use for outdoor cedarwood bird feeders?
I have some outdoor cedarwood wild bird feeders that the wood is deteriorating on. What type of paint/coating can I put on them so I don’t kill off any visiting avians?

Go with a good, exterior spray or brush on paint that’s rated safe for kids’ toys or lawn furniture. It should be safe enough for the birds. Rust-Oleum is a good brand.
