We have a birds nest in a bird house that we would like to move, but we know there are babies in it, and we were wondering the average length a baby bird stays in its nest.

Depends on the species. If it is a mourning dove, it is usually 17 days. But with Barn owls, it can go for 70 days. Other birds like Eagles, they stay in their parents territory up to 3 years.
Wait– a bird nest in a bird house? Why put up a bird house if you don’t want the bird nest?
