Question by The Gypsy: can you help me understand this dream (birds)?
sorry i know this is long, but please i need help decifering this dream:
i was driving along this road (kinda winding road) i looked to the side where there was a few ravens sitting together perched (im really into photography) i wanted to stop and take a pic. but the person i was w/ kept driving and said we’d go back later. as we drove on i looked to the side of the road again and saw a cluster of horn bills sitting together http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A2KJkK6GUDNOeHcAch.jzbkF/SIG=1217h3hmo/EXP=1312014598/**http%3a//www.jakeandval.com/images/hornbill.JPG (that is what a horn bill looks like just so you know) but again i could not stop to take a pic. the road started to climb alittle up onto a bit of a hill, when i saw this watering hole place (very pretty, and the water was teeming with life) and all these beautiful tropical birds sitting together they kinda looked like these: http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A2KJke4VUTNOnSUARO2jzbkF/SIG=12sa913k0/EXP=1312014741/**http%3a//www.softbillsforsale.com/images/softbills/red-crested-turaco2.jpg

what does this mean? i know ravens are supposed to be a bad omen (do you think it is?) i actually think they are really pretty in real life but they did look kinda strikingly menacing in the dream. . . . i just find it odd that the birds i saw kept getting more and more appealing but then the best ones felw away

What a vivid, colorful dream you had!
I believe you are eager to get on with your life. There is SO much you want to do, but you are not yet in the drivers’ seat, so you are not yet able to take advantages of all the opportunities you want to experience. You are so afraid your best opportunities will be gone before you can take advantage of them.
Remember this, the person who is doing the driving in your life has responsibilities, needs and opportunities, too. Young adults tend to think parents should just put their life on hold to make sure they get to grab whatever they’d like to have immediately. This just is not possible.
Focus on accomplishing what you can here and now. Get your education. Take advantage of what is available to you now, without constantly harassing your “drivers” to completely dedicate their life to fulfilling your dreams. Take each step in order, as each on builds on what comes before it. Support your “drivers” in their dreams and responsibilities as well. They’ve had to put many of their own needs on hold through the years just to keep you surviving and they need some positive input and help from you before you fly the coop and leave them wondering why they had kids to start with! ;-D
You seem to be a decent, reasonable young lady, so I’m sure you see what I mean. If you do your best to be supportive of them, they might have more energy to apply to helping you reach your goals.
