Cockatiel Would a 7 year old cockatiel be too old to learn tricks?

Question by bridget: Would a 7 year old cockatiel be too old to learn tricks?
I have a 7 year old cockatiel. I’ve heard that the younger cockatiels are easier to teach tricks. Seven years of age isn’t necessarily that old, but would it be possible for me to teach him a word to say or a trick?

I have had him since he was very young. We have bonded throughout the years and he is very nice to me.
Please include tricks that are easy to teach in your answer.
