Bird Feeding Bird feeding????????????????????????????

Question by benny: Bird feeding????????????????????????????
Hi I put out some Linseed, some raw cashew nuts ( not roasted or salted), some broken up digestive biscuits, and some uncooked porridge oats.

Is this stuff alright to feed birds, and what kind of birds will it attracts?

Also how long will they take to pluck up the courage to come and get it?

Seeds, cashews and oats will be fine. I would never feed any human foods to birds or any wild animals as they have ingredients designed for humans and may be harmful to animals. Wild bird seed mix, chicken scratch feed, corn, wheat, peas and all other seeds are fine for birds. The mix and scratch will attract a variety of birds such as doves, blackbirds, sparrows, Cardinals, finches, crows and pigeons. Th placement of the food should be away from human traffic and the birds will find it sometimes the first day.

What do you think? Answer below!
