Bird Feeding if i put Cardinal bird feed out will that type of bird come to my house?

i bought some wild bird feed and put it out and lots of birds come but i want the Cardinal birds to come so if i put there kind of feed out will it attract them? im not even sure if there in my area

Cardinal bird feed should attract cardinals. Just make sure the bag contains black oil sunflower seeds (which are black medium sized seeds that are considered the #1 choice to feed and attract the greatest variety of birds to your feeders), and safflower seeds (which are white small seeds that are a favorite seed of the Northern Cardinal).
Remember, cardinals like cracked corn, nuts, sunflower seeds, safflower, millet, peanuts, apple, and bread, so make sure that stuff is in the feed or you add it!
