This little critter, about 6 inches tall, came to visit our garden this morning. It appears its tail has been docked to inhibit flight, but it gets around quite well regardless. It had a great time feeding and bathing, and hanging out with the squirrels and other birds.
Pentax istDS DSLR with 50-200mm DA lens at 200mm through a double-paned window. Bird was about 8 feet away.
