At first I thought this was a Black-capped Chickadee but I’m just not sure. Most of the pictures I find of them do not have the white around the eye area and the beaks seem shorter. This bird identification is driving me crazy but I do love the learning. Just wish I could be sure all my learning is correct!

Feeding the Birds

We have a bird oasis in our side yard. We love feeding the birds because it gives us something interesting to look at all winter long. We have 3 bird feeders and a heated birdbath.

We enjoy seeing all the different kinds of birds that come to our feeders. We have a bird identification book that we use to identify any new birds we see.
