Question by Kelly: Strange Parrot noises?
I have an African Grey Parrot, I recently bought her some new toys to hang in her cage. I took her really old ones out and she immediatly was interested in the new toyss. I have been hearing her make this kind of wheezing/whimpering noise? like a little squeek or something but it almost sounds like she’s breathing funny. anyways she does it when she’s pecking around with her new toys. Is thsi a good or bad noise? thanks for any input!

We just gave our nanday conure parrot a new nest house. It has pictures of parrots on it. She often talks to the pictures, and makes a strange cooing noise around it. It sounds to me like your parrot is just enjoying her new toy.
