The best birdhouse for mosquito control is a Martin box for Purple Martins. If you can get some barn swallows they eat a lot of mosquitoes, too. BUT, the best you can build and install is a Bat House; a housefull of bats will eat more mosquitoes in one night than a house full of martins will in a week, mostly because the martins will have at most 150 birds whereas a single bat house can have over 600 in their colony. The bat houses aren’t difficult to build; here is a site with plans:
