Question by Molly: Help identifying bird in picture?
I was birdwatching in my backyard yesterday and took a few pictures of this bird. I’ve been trying to identify what it is for awhile, but so far it has me stumped. I was thinking perhaps an American Pipit? I live in southeastern Missouri, if that helps. Here are a couple pictures of the bird:

The yellow markings on the belly near the breast, near the tail, and on the throat are what’s throwing me off. If you know what kind of bird this is or have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
