My strawberry plant came with birdies! This spring, I set out two pots of strawberry plants, one dwarf blueberry and one dwarf fig. About a month later, I noticed a pile of twigs behind one of the plants and wondered why I didn’t see them before, how they could have blown in and promptly forgot about it.
Two days later there were eggs! So uhm.. my strawberry plants look like crap now because I didn’t water them since I didn’t want to get too near the nest. This was taken a day or two after they hatched and mom was so protective she wouldn’t leave the nest.
Baby bird cheaping RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR? Drove the cats nuts.
