Today i got a woodpecker suet and a container for it at Lowe’s because i saw one in back yard anyway, i curious to know,
Will other birds eat the woodpecker suet?
I hung the bird feeder thing from a tree will the birds like it there or should i put it else were?
What kind of other birds (if there are any) will eat that suet?
What kinds of birds live in south east Michigan?

Lots of birds besides woodpeckers eat suet. Chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, blue jays, and more may come to visit. There are different types of suet as well including high energy or beef suet, peanut suet, and fruit berry suet. You might find your local birds tend to prefer one kind over another-testing will tell! Some people suspend their suet feeders as you have, others nail them to a tree trunk.
Woodpeckers also eat raw peanuts (no shells), so some day you might add a peanut feeder to go along with the suet one.
