Question by Thomas: My neighbor leaves a mix of peanuts, rhubarb leaves, bread, and chocolate in the open to feed birds. Why?
I asked her why she does this, and she told me that it’s ‘cheaper’ than to buy bird feed. I don’t believe her, seeing that the ingredients she uses are more expensive than a bag of bird feed at Wal-Mart near my place. Is it extra nutritious for birds or something? I don’t get it.

You really cant go wrong in mimicking nature when it comes to helping wildlife such as by feeding them. The peanuts are pretty much the only useful and healthy thing she’s providing.
Otherwise, I dont get it either!
